Construction of A New Parasitology Laboratory Completed
The old parasitology building, which mainly performs diagnostics of geo-helminths and Schistosoma has become too small for its growing level of activity. Free space on the premises of CERMEL has become available with the moving of the storage to the new administrative building and renovation and readaption of this building has finish.
The new laboratory will contain microscopes, incubators, centrifuges and enough workspace for the team of 2 technicians and 3 biologists. A Master student from the Technical University of Masuku (USTM), Franceville, Gabon has also joined the team for 6 months.
